Climate change—off the record

Dr Clare Noone and myself have started a podcast (not another one!).

In this podcast we talk to experts on climate change—about what they do…but more importantly, about how they feel about it. Sometimes when scientists and researchers speak, the language that they use can make it hard for the public to connect. We want to change that. We want to make that connection—so we’re opening up a more human conversation about climate change. Welcome to climate change—off the record.

Episode 1: Professor Peter Thorne – Peter’s work bridges science with real-world policy, shaping how Ireland (and the world) understands and responds to climate change.

Episode 2: Professor Hannah Daly – Hannah’s research focuses on modelling national and global decarbonisation pathways, with particular expertise in energy systems, carbon budgets and climate policy.

Episode 3: Doctor Paul Deane – Paul is a frequent media contributor and advisor to governments and companies on sustainable energy strategies and climate policy.

Episode 4: Professor Conor Murphy – Conor is an expert on climate change adaptation and sits on the Climate Change Advisory Council’s Adaptation Committee.
